Edmonton Engagement Photographer: Andrea and Colin

I had so much fun shooting Andrea and Colin’s engagement shoot! Andrea is HARDCORE…the log picture was totally her idea and I was terrified she was going to plunge to her death. I was more worried about her then the fact I was straddling an adjacent tree with $10,000 worth of equipment. They are such a sweet couple…so clearly in love. I am so excited to be a part of their day! Lots of love!

Edmonton Destination Wedding Photographer: Katrina and Bryan

I have known Katrina since she was a young girl. Her brother was my very first boyfriend.:)Somehow I managed to get past my 14 year old heart ache and stay close friends with Katrina. She has always been like a little sister to me. I have known her through her ups and her downs. It was a complete honour and document the beginning of her marriage to Bryan…who is such an amazing man and clearly loves Trina so very much. I can’t lie…I cried like a baby during their entire day. I was so happy for them. Their wedding took place in Nassau, Bahamas…but the entire week was spent on a Carnival Cruise ship. It was an amazing week. Thank you, Trina and Bryan for bringing me. Love you both.

My husband makes an awesome assistant.:)

Edmonton Wedding Photographer: Kelsey and Scott

Where do I even begin with this couple? I met Kelsey and Scott through a referral from a really awesome photographer that I look up to. That photographer shot Kelsey’s twin sister’s wedding but was booked for Kelsey’s wedding. I am not going to lie…I was intimidated at first. But the moment I met Kelsey and Scott my worries melted away. I’ll never forget her crying while watching my client slideshow during our consultation. I remember her and Scott leaving and saying to my husband “I REALLY want to work with them.” Kelsey and Scott have the biggest hearts. I love that they freely express emotion…and most notably to each other and their daughter, Kaiya. Throughout this year with them I have enjoyed witnessing their love and passion for one another…and it was an absolute honour to document it. Thank you, Kelsey and Scott, for stumbling into my lives…introducing me to your wonderful family…and becoming a part of my life. I love you guys very much. I wish you the best…wherever you may be. Lots of love and hugs! I also want to thank the AMAZING Terence Law from TLAW Photography  for being an incredible second shooter. He took a number of amazing shots in this post and I am extremely grateful for having him with me. P.S. I apologize for the length of this post…it was just such an awesome day!

Blake. xoxo
